  1. The advantage of power wind and carrying a camera ready to use is
  2. shown  here.  The picture was taken with a Canon  T70  and 70/210
  3. Tamron  zoom in Palma Nova - Majorca.  The high light level 
  4. meant fast  shutter speeds and small apertures.  That SHOULD mean
  5. sharp results.

  7. The camera motor was capable of 2 frames a second,  and the added
  8. advantage of a motor is that the camera can be kept to the eye
  9. between shots.

  12. If I am carrying a camera,  it is ALWAYS switched on and ready to
  13. use.  In this case set to program - a setting very likely to get
  14. a good result regardless of what purists might say.

  16. I noticed the couple walking out to the boat in shallow water and
  17. thought there might be a shot. You can see what happened.  The
  18. motor allowed 3 frames to be taken of the `incident`,  of which
  19. this is the best.

  23. I  once  had a confrontation in a camera club when I said  that a
  24. camera  should never be in it`s case when out and about.  One 
  25. old gent said I had no respect for my equipment and that it was
  26. easily damaged  if not protected.  I retorted that the camera was
  27. only  a tool  - a bricklayer doesn`t keep his trowel in a soft
  28. bag in  his pocket.
